We are absolutely delighted to announce that the Fire Beam has been awarded the FIA Product Innovation Award at the Fire Industry Awards 2007, beating stiff competition from companies such as Siemens, Honeywell and Apollo. More information coming soon...
Welcome to the Fire Beam web site...
thefirebeam is the latest innovation in optical beam technology. From a clean sheet of paper we have designed what is becoming known as 'the only beam to use'.
With over 10 years experience in beam detection, our design team have overcome the two main problems that have in the past made optical beam detection a route to be avoided - Alignment (both commissioning and during service) and Accessibility. But why stop there? A clean sheet of paper has allowed us the luxury of addressing a whole host of other problems associated with beam detection, such as low power and an IP rating of 65. All in all we have developed a cost effective answer to cover large areas that is easy to use and can be relied upon.
We understand that this is new technology and as such want to help you get to terms with it, we offer 24/7 technical support and can also offer you full training support.
Many of the UK's most influential fire companies are now using thefirebeam as a matter of preference not only for problem sites but also as an extremely cost effective alternative to spot and air sampling. All part of a growing customer base enjoying less false alarms.
The Fire Beam Range
With only four items in our product range, stocking couldn't be any easier. The standard Fire Beam comes with one reflector and covers distances from 5 to 40 metres. For longer ranges you simply add extra reflector range kits and the beam head will automatically adjust itself to the distance you're covering. The only other thing to consider is whether you want to use our handy Unistrut friendly adaptor plates.
Who is using the Fire Beam?
We are pleased to say that the Fire Beam is currently being used by a growing number of major companies. Here is just a small selection of some of those organisations the Fire Beam is helping to protect:
